June 24, 2002 SP1's Custom mode for selecting application defaults. This is the user interface offered in Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) for the Custom mode of controlling application defaults. These somewhat cryptic controls work in Beta 1. The "Show this program" setting controls whether the Microsoft application will continue to be displayed, even if you've selected a third-party application to be the default.
